High pressure and high flow rate gas quenching vacuum furnace is to use vacuum system (composed of vacuum pump, vacuum measuring device, vacuum valve and other components carefully assembled) in the specific space of furnace chamber to discharge part of the material in the furnace chamber, so that the pressure in the furnace chamber is less than one standard atmospheric pressure, and the space in the furnace chamber is thus in a vacuum state. This is a vacuum furnace.
High pressure and high flow rate gas quenching vacuum furnace is a device for heating in a vacuum environment. It is connected to the high vacuum pump system by pipes in the furnace chamber sealed by a metal cover or a quartz glass cover. The vacuum degree of the furnace chamber can reach 133×(10~10)Pa. The heating system in the furnace can be directly heated by a resistance furnace wire (such as tungsten wire) or by high frequency induction heating. The maximum temperature can reach about 3000℃. It is mainly used for ceramic sintering, vacuum smelting, degassing of electric vacuum parts, annealing, brazing of metal parts, and ceramic-metal sealing, etc.
Advantages of high pressure and high flow rate gas quenching vacuum furnace
1) Completely eliminates oxidation and decarburization of the workpiece surface during heating, and obtains a clean surface without metamorphic layer. This has a great impact on the improvement of cutting performance of tools that only grind one side during sharpening (such as twist drills that expose the decarburization layer on the groove surface directly to the cutting edge after grinding).
2) No pollution to the environment, no need for three wastes treatment.
3) The accuracy of furnace temperature measurement and monitoring is significantly improved. The indicated value of the thermocouple is ±1.5°C with the furnace temperature. However, the temperature difference of different parts of a large number of workpieces in the furnace is large. If rarefied gas forced circulation is used, it can still be controlled within the range of ±5°C temperature difference.
