Vacuum quenching (tempering, annealing) is a treatment method that achieves the expected performance by heating and cooling materials or parts in a vacuum state according to process regulations.

The furnace chamber sealed by a metal cover or a quartz glass cover is connected to the high vacuum pump system by a pipe. The vacuum degree of the furnace chamber can reach 133×(10~10)Pa. The heating system in the furnace can be directly heated by a resistance furnace wire (such as a tungsten wire) or by high-frequency induction heating. The maximum temperature can reach about 3000℃. It is mainly used for ceramic sintering, vacuum smelting, degassing of electric vacuum parts, annealing, brazing of metal parts, and ceramic-metal sealing.
